Job summary

Halfords Autocentre Apprenticeship offers hands-on experience across servicing, inspections and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles. You will learn from mentors to diagnose and repair to the highest standard.

Programme combines on‑the‑job training with one day at college, developing skills in safety, inspection, maintenance and fault diagnosis while supporting customer service and workshop efficiency.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (Or Equivalents).
• Interest in cars and solving problems.
• Willingness to learn and listen to mentors and college lecturers.
• Able to work as part of a team and understand workshop operations from a commercial perspective.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge and skills to diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards.
• Learn workplace safety, vehicle inspection and servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
• Work on a variety of vehicles and problems as part of a dynamic Autocentre team.
• Collaborate with colleagues and mentors to deliver excellent customer service.
