Job summary

Halfords Autocentre Apprenticeship offers hands-on training across servicing, inspections and complex diagnostics. You will work on a variety of makes and models, gaining practical skills under supervision while developing problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

With strong team collaboration and customer-focused service, you will learn to diagnose and repair vehicles to the highest standards, supported by mentors and college attendance as part of the programme.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalents).
• Desire to build a career as an Auto Vehicle Technician.
• Willingness to learn and develop practical skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn to diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards using diagnostic methods and equipment.
• Assist with servicing, inspections, and repair tasks of varying complexity.
• Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-changing workshop environment.
