Job summary

Halfords Autocentres are offering an apprentice position to gain hands-on experience across servicing, inspections and diagnostics. You will work on a variety of vehicle types and be guided by skilled mentors to diagnose and repair faults to high standards.

The programme includes a day at college as part of a 5-day working week, with total hours around 40 per week. You will develop technical and workshop skills in a dynamic retail automotive environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (Or Equivalents).
• Interest in cars and solving problems.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge and develop skills to diagnose and repair vehicles to the highest standard.
• Assist with servicing, inspections, and repairs on a variety of makes and models.
• Learn diagnostic methods and use equipment with guidance from mentors.
• Work both independently and as part of a workshop team in a commercially focused environment.
