Job summary

Halfords Autocentre Apprenticeship offers hands-on experience across servicing, inspections and complex repairs on diverse makes and models. You will learn to diagnose and repair vehicles to the highest standard while developing problem-solving skills and teamwork in a busy workshop.

The programme includes day release at college, with a 40-hour week (46 for over 18 depending). You will benefit from generous benefits and opportunities for career development within a top employer.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (Or Equivalents).
• Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of vehicle systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing, inspections and diagnostic work.
• Learn to diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards.
• Work within workshop teams and adapt to changing tasks.
