Job summary

Halfords Autocentre Apprenticeship offers hands-on experience across servicing, inspections, engine rebuilds and diagnostics. You will work on a wide range of makes and models in a fast-paced environment, with daily challenges and a focus on customer service.

The programme covers workplace safety, engineering skills, vehicle inspection and servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis. GCSEs in Maths and English are required, and you will learn to diagnose and repair vehicles to the highest

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalents).
• Interest in cars and solving problems.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop practical repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge in workplace safety and engineering skills.
• Learn vehicle inspection, servicing, maintenance, repair and diagnosing faults.
• Work with diagnostic methods and equipment.
• Contribute to resolving varied vehicle issues daily.
