Job summary

JD Gyms in Uxbridge is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the day-to-day operation of the club. You will work with the General Manager to uphold high standards, develop colleagues, and help achieve membership and commercial objectives.

You will lead a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants, ensuring safety compliance, exceptional member service, and strong operation performance while fostering a positive, engaging environment for staff and members.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing a team in leisure or customer-focused environments.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent member service.
• Ability to coach and develop colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and company procedures.
• Lead and manage a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants to cover daily operations.
• Drive membership, revenue and commercial targets and secondary spend.
• Maintain high cleanliness and safety standards across the facility.
• Represent JD Gyms values in all member and colleague interactions.
