Job summary

Premier Inn in Gillingham is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member. You will welcome guests, assist with check-ins, and serve breakfast or dinner while staying calm during busy periods. Full training is provided, and you’ll work across reception, restaurant and public areas to keep the hotel running smoothly.

The role offers a permanent contract, 20 guaranteed hours per week, and shifts including evenings and weekends at Gillingham Business Park. Training and a supportive team await you.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; candidates from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants or customer service encouraged.
• Friendly, helpful, and calm under busy conditions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them check in.
• Serve breakfast or evening meals, including bar service and alcoholic drinks.
• Answer questions and help solve problems for guests.
• Keep reception, restaurant and public areas clean and welcoming.
• Support teammates across the hotel when busy.
• Ensure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure.
