Job summary

Marriott Manchester Victoria & Albert Hotel is seeking a proactive Reservations Assistant to be the primary contact for bedroom bookings, car park and event enquiries. You will manage guest reservations, explain facilities and pricing, and set accurate expectations before stay.

Role involves handling 3rd party systems, daily checks, and using local knowledge to maximise revenue while ensuring excellent customer service and a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for guest reservations for bedrooms & car park and event enquiries.
• Manage guests’ bookings, ensuring their needs & wants are met to the highest standard.
• Give details of hotel facilities and pricing information.
• Ensure expectations are set correctly, in advance of the guest’s stay.
• Managing all 3rd party booking systems.
• Daily reservation checks and final details.
• Assisting the client with both hotel and local knowledge to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Recording and processing all no-show charges daily.
• Accurate profit and revenue capture, through correct pricing, posting and invoicing.
