Job summary

Marriott Manchester Victoria and Albert Hotel is recruiting for a front-of-house role focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, process payments, and assist with wake-up calls and guest requests.

We seek friendly individuals with hospitality or customer service background, excellent interpersonal skills, and a readiness to grow within Marriott. Training and development opportunities are offered, with staff discounts across Marriott

Qualifications

Hospitality and/or customer service experience is essential.
Warm and genuine individual who puts people first.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Previous experience with IT applications.
Willingness to grow and develop within the company.

Responsibilities

Meet & greet guests and be their first interaction with the hotel.
Check guests in and out according to standards and procedures.
Complete end-of-day activities including posting charges and night audit backups.
Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, debit or credit cards.
Sell rooms/accommodation based on availability without a reservation.
Handle wake-up calls and inform guests of messages.
Confidently address guest queries and complaints.
