Job summary

Hilton in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Receptionist to deliver a warm welcome, handle efficient check-in/check-out, and provide local hotel knowledge to guests. You will promote services and support guests with requests, ensuring memorable stays.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest services.
• Ability to greet guests warmly and manage inquiries.
• Strong communication and up-selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and complete the check-in process, verify details, assign rooms, issue keys and provide welcome materials.
• Process guest departures by verifying charges, handling payments, issuing receipts, and using the POS system accurately.
• Provide hotel knowledge on offerings, room types, rates, and promotions to assist guests.
