Job summary

MERKUR Casino Leeds is seeking a Guest Relations Host to manage reception, cloakroom, and guest services, while supporting electronic gaming machines. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, and the ability to explain promotions.

Night shifts and weekends are possible, with comprehensive training provided to ensure service excellence. The position offers 40 hours per week at £13.00/hour plus £1 night rate supplement (11pm–6am), based in Leeds.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good written and verbal communications.
• Has the ability to explain offers and promotions.
• Experience in serving food and beverages is desired
• Previous experience working with electronic gaming products would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service, as the first and last point of contact for all customers and visitors.
• Registering customers to the membership scheme, ensuring all relevant information is captured.
• Assisting customers with general enquiries.
• Assisting customers with electronic gaming issues.
• Managing cloakroom control.
• Assisting F&B team with serving food and drinks.
• Compiling and sending specific reports.
• Adhering to health and safety practices and procedures; participate in meetings as required.
• Promote Responsible Gambling and comply with UK Gambling Commission standards.
