Job summary

MERKUR Casino UK Ltd in Leeds is hiring a Team Member for Harehills. This 12-hour per week position offers flexible weekend and bank holiday rotas, with pay between £12.84 and £13.84 per hour, plus a night rate of £13.84 between 23:00 and 06:00.

You will deliver friendly, first-class service, maintain venue cleanliness, support promotions, monitor customer behaviour, and work as part of a team to create a welcoming gaming experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality or gambling environments is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work on a rota including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure venue housekeeping is maintained to high standards.
• Deliver rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
• Monitor customer behaviour and identify potentially disruptive activity.
• Assist with administration to achieve 100% accuracy.
• Help run promotions smoothly and contribute to their success.
• Provide customer service that aligns with company standards and aims for high customer satisfaction.
• Own and resolve problems, escalating when appropriate per policy.
• Interact with customers during shifts and log interactions as required.
• Maintain presentation standards and comply with the brand dress code.
• Gain knowledge of company policies around safeguarding and Prevent 25.
