Job summary

Albrighton Hall Hotel & Spa, a Radisson Individuals member, is an 87-bedroom hotel set in the Shropshire countryside with a leisure club, spa, meetings and events, plus the oak room restaurant and 1630 bar.

We are seeking a Front Desk/Reception team member to deliver a warm welcome, manage check-ins/outs, handle reservations and guest inquiries, and collaborate with all departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
• Professional conduct and attention to detail in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Proficiency with hotel software and reservation systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Greet guests on arrival and process check-ins/outs.
• Reservation Management: Handle inquiries and book rooms via phone, email or in person.
• Front Desk Operations: Answer calls, provide information on facilities and local attractions.
• Guest Services and Assistance: Address guest needs promptly and assist with luggage, transport and directions.
• Billing and Payments: Process payments, issue receipts and ensure accurate billing.
• Communication and Coordination: Relay messages and coordinate requests with other departments.
• Complaint Handling: Address issues professionally and escalate when needed.
• Safety and Security: Follow procedures to protect guests and property.
• Administrative Tasks: Filing, record-keeping and maintaining front desk area.
• Knowledge of Hotel Services: Stay updated on services, promotions and amenities.
• Multitasking and Time Management: Prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
• Technology Proficiency: Use PMS and reservation systems to generate reports.
