Job summary

Highbridge Talent is recruiting an experienced Commercial Director to lead the next growth phase across plant, construction, quarry and heavy equipment sectors. You will own the commercial strategy, drive new business, and expand market share while safeguarding long-term profitability.

Reporting to the MD, you will head sales, business development and key accounts, mentor the commercial team, and partner with Operations and Finance to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading sales, business development or commercial functions.
• Track record of winning new business and revenue growth.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing strategic customer relationships.
• Experience leading and developing sales or commercial teams.
• Understanding of the plant and construction marketplace.
• Strategic yet hands-on, entrepreneurial and results-focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the overall commercial strategy and growth plan.
• Identify and win new business opportunities across the plant and construction markets.
• Grow and develop existing strategic customer accounts.
• Build strong relationships with senior customers, suppliers and industry partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies and tender submissions.
• Identify new markets, sectors and opportunities for expansion.
• Lead, mentor and develop the commercial team.
• Work closely with Operations and Finance to improve commercial performance and monitor sales pipelines.
