Job summary

Lighthouse Hotel Management is seeking a Sales Executive for the Courtyard by Marriott - Luton Airport. You will drive group sales, build relationships with corporate clients, event organisers, and travel partners, and secure new opportunities to position the hotel as the preferred choice in the Luton area.

Collaborate with events and catering teams to coordinate group requirements, prepare proposals, and close contracts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales role within catering & hospitality, preferably group sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Organised and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new group business opportunities, including conferences, events, and corporate bookings.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts to ensure repeat business.
• Collaborate with events and catering teams to coordinate group requirements and deliver seamless service.
• Prepare detailed proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales agreements.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
• Attend networking events and trade shows to represent the hotel and expand the client base.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and provide regular reports to management.
