Job summary

Celtic Manor Resort in Newport is seeking a Group Reservations Agent to manage group bookings from enquiry to arrival, coordinating with internal teams to ensure a five-star guest experience. The role requires hospitality experience, strong organisational skills, and proficiency with Word and Excel. Knowledge of Opera or Delphi is desirable.

The successful candidate will join a supportive reservations team at our Newport campus, with full-time hours and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations, hospitality, sales, or customer service.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Opera or Delphi is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage group bookings from enquiry to arrival with exceptional guest service.
• Coordinate group requirements with internal departments for seamless arrivals.
• Provide prompt and professional support to tour operators and group organisers.
• Promote the Celtic Manor Collection facilities to maximise sales.
• Maintain accurate bookings, contracts and guest information across systems.
• Coordinate VIP requirements and special requests with operations.
• Support targets through administration, sales and upselling.
• Maintain high standards of communication, organisation and customer service.
