The Celtic Manor Resort is seeking a Group Reservations Agent to join the Reservations team in Newport. You will manage group bookings from enquiry to arrival, ensuring accuracy and delivering exceptional guest service throughout the process.

Ideal candidates have previous reservations or hospitality experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Word and Excel. The role offers full-time hours and a supportive benefits package at the Newport location.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations, hospitality, sales, or customer service.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisation with attention to detail.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage group bookings from enquiry to arrival, ensuring accuracy and guest service.
• Liaise with internal departments to coordinate group requirements and arrivals.
• Deliver five-star service to tour operators and group organisers, providing prompt support.
• Promote Celtic Manor Collection facilities to maximise sales and revenue opportunities.
• Maintain accurate booking, contract and guest information across reservation systems.
• Coordinate VIP requirements and group arrivals with operational teams.
• Support departmental targets through effective administration, sales and upselling.
• Maintain excellent standards of communication, organisation and customer service.
