Group Exercise Manager & Fitness and Wellbeing Advisor

Nomura International Plc | Fitness | Permanent | Full Time
£35,000.00 per annum, dependent on experience
40 hours per week

If you're passionate about fitness and wellbeing, you could take the lead on delivering exceptional customer service at our club. From motivating members to teaching classes, reviewing timetables and ensuring we respond to members in good time. Here, you'll proactively develop both your knowledge and our offering.

As a Group Exercise Manager at our Nomura International Plc, you'll be a qualified instructor with the relevant qualifications in class-based exercise. You'll have experience of a corporate or commercial fitness environment. And ideally, you hold a first aid qualification and can follow the Emergency Action Procedures.

As a Group Exercise Manager & Fitness and Wellbeing Advisor, you will:

• Develop and oversee the running of a 'best in class' Group Exercise timetable
• Making sure every member has access to the timetable via communication channels
• Manage Class Occupancy and RAG sheet
• Manage a team of internal and external Instructors (5 external and 3 internal)
• Regular audits of the timetable and studios
• Manage P&L lines for Group Exercise monthly against KPI's. This includes Instructor costs below £2,100 per month
• On-board and off-board instructors
• Be aware of Health and Safety Policies and Processe
• Fitness and Wellbeing Advisor duties
• Gym floor cover shifts between the hours of 5:45 - 21:00
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Personal Best Programme Delivery (Mini Health Check Appointments)
• Fitness Programme Delivery and Challenges monthly with outreach events
• Offer all members a programme and enhance the member journey experience daily
• Personal Training delivery
