Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Warrington, England, is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep outdoor spaces to the highest standard and meet SLA requirements.

You\'ll carry out grass and hedge work, border maintenance, leaf clearance, spraying and litter picking, using hand tools and machinery, with opportunities to support winter services and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
• PAI & PA6 spraying license is a plus.
• Full UK driving licence preferred for roles involving company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking.
• Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively.
• Deliver winter services including gritting, snow clearance, and Christmas tree installation.
• Report site hazards and relevant information to management.
• Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required.

We're looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest quality.

Contract: Permanent
Type: Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay £13.45 per hour
Location: Warrington, Warrington, Cheshire, England WA2 7TT
Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence

What we’re looking for:

• Passion for working outdoors in agile and flexible environments
• Good understanding of smartphone technology
• Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential
• PAI & PA6 spraying license is a plus
• Full UK driving license preferred for roles involving company vehicles
