Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to deliver high-quality outdoor space care in line with SLA standards.

You will work outdoors across sites, keeping grounds well-maintained and safe for staff and visitors. The role covers grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying and litter picking, plus winter services such as gritting and snow clearance.

We're looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest quality.

Hourly Rate of Pay: £13.45
Contract Type: Permanent
Type of Employment: Full time
Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 40
Location: Regional Recruitment - Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, England NE1 5DL
Requirement: Full UK Driving License

What we're looking for:

• Passion for working outdoors in agile and flexible environments
• Good understanding of smartphone technology
• Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential
• PAI & PA6 spraying license is a plus
• Full UK driving license preferred for roles involving company vehicles
