Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative to deliver high quality outdoor spaces and meet SLA requirements. The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour, based in Tamworth, England.

A Full UK Driving Licence is required, and spraying licenses (PAI/PA6) are a plus. You will carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, and winter services, operating hand tools and machinery safely while reporting hazards

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
• PAI & PA6 spraying licenses are a plus.
• Comfortable working outdoors in agile and flexible environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking.
• Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively.
• Deliver winter services including gritting, snow clearance, and Christmas tree installation.
• Report site hazards and relevant information to management.
• Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required.
