Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative in Broxburn, Scotland. • Deliver winter services including gritting and snow clearance.
• Report site hazards and maintain safety protocols.

We’re looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest quality.

• Hours: 40 hours per week


• Pay: £12.60 per hour


• Location: Mitie Landscapes Broxburn Depot, Unit 1, Roman Camp Business Park, Crawburn Works, Broxburn, West Lothian, Scotland EH52 5FG

Requirements

Requirement: Full Driving Licence, Experience in tower trailers and must pass PVG Vetting as will be working on Schools Contract.

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking


• Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively


• Deliver winter services including gritting, snow clearance, and Christmas tree installation


• Report site hazards and relevant information to management


• Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required

What We\u2019re Looking For

• Passion for working outdoors in agile and flexible environments


• Good understanding of smartphone technology


• Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential


• PAI & PA6 spraying license is a plus


• Full UK driving license preferred for roles involving company vehicle
