Job summary

John Lewis plc is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to deliver Waitrose groceries in Willerby, North Yorkshire. This temporary role combines on‑road deliveries with in‑shop tasks such as stock replenishment, keeping the store tidy and ready for customers.

You must be 18 or older with a full UK manual driving licence (B category) and up to 6 penalty points. You should enjoy helping people and be physically able to lift up to 18 kg.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older
• Hold a full, valid UK manual car driving licence (B-category) with no more than 6 penalty points
• Strong customer service and people skills
• Capable of physical work including lifting up to 18 kg

Responsibilities

• Be a friendly face for the Waitrose brand while on the road delivering groceries
• Communicate changes to orders and arrange refunds if needed
• Handle products with care and ensure safe deliveries
• Assist with warehouse tasks when off the road
