Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in Willerby, North Yorkshire is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring Waitrose groceries to customers' doors. You will start in-store before heading out on the road, delivering with a friendly, professional approach and careful handling of goods.

Part-time, temporary contract with varied hours. Night premium applies for late shifts and enhanced hours premiums may also apply. Regular safety checks and teamwork with the CFC and shop staff are expected.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to work in the UK
• Hold a full, valid UK manual car driving licence (B category) with no more than 6 penalty points
• Bring superb people skills and a friendly approach to customer service
• Be prepared for physical work including lifting crates and moving items up to ~18kg

Responsibilities

• Start in-store before heading out on deliveries to customers
• Provide friendly, professional Waitrose service on the road
• Handle products with care and ensure safe, accurate deliveries
• Communicate substitutions or changes and arrange refunds if needed
• Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain road readiness
• Support wider store/warehouse tasks when not on deliveries
