Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor for the Infrastructure team on a Southern Water project in Falmer, East Sussex. This permanent, full-time 2-year pathway will lead to an assistant level role with potential salary up to around £38k.

Starting in September 2027, the role includes budgets, on-site valuation, tender preparation, and financial reporting. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or currently working towards one.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking with excellent attention to detail.
• Teamwork and collaboration with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and cost estimates.
• Support measurement and valuation of work done on-site.
• Help prepare and submit tenders and contract documents.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure specifications.
• Collaborate with the project team to prepare progress reports and financial statements.
