Job summary

Kier Group is offering a Summer Placement for a Quantity Surveyor student to join the Infrastructure team, working on the Water sector projects in East Sussex. The position is based in Falmer with 8 weeks at 40 hours per week and starts in July 2027.

The role provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and potential progression to the Graduate Scheme. Applicants must be returning to university after the placement and should hold a driving licence.

Qualifications

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing all contractual and financial aspects of infrastructure projects.
• Support on projects for the Southern Water framework in East Sussex.
• Prepare progress reports and financial statements; assist in tenders and contract documents.
