Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Infrastructure team on the Southern Water project in Falmer, East Sussex. The role starts at £31,000 per year, with a potential £4,750 car allowance depending on eligibility and project, and a two-year programme leading to an assistant level role with salary potential around £38k.

The position offers a path from graduate to senior responsibilities, with on-site or design-based work, and a start date of September 2027.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in pursuing a career in civil engineering and construction.
• Degree ICE-accredited in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Hold a full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of project designs, plans, and specifications.
• Support development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to solve technical issues and ensure project success.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and provide project updates.
