A reputable educational service provider in Liverpool seeks a Graduate Cover Supervisor to start a career in teaching. This full-time role involves supporting lessons, managing classroom behavior, and participating in the SKiP Programme for teacher training. This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about education who wants to gain valuable in‑school experience before qualifying as a teacher. You'll start by supporting lessons and covering classes, then progress into a fully supported training programme leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with the SKiP route.
The SKiP (School-based Initial Teacher Training) programme is a practical, school-embedded route into teaching. It allows aspiring teachers to train on the job, learning alongside experienced educators while working towards QTS, with the option to study for a PGCE alongside it.
