Job summary

Arup in the United Kingdom is offering a Graduate Infrastructure Mechanical Engineer role within Energy, Water & Resources. You will work on MEICA design for water and wastewater projects and collaborate with electrical and ICA engineers to deliver integrated solutions.

As a graduate, you will learn through formal training and real project exposure, with opportunities to progress toward IMechE accreditation while supported by a diverse multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Masters degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related subject with minimum 2:1.
• Genuine interest in solving problems that affect the way we live.
• Keen to deliver mechanical designs for infrastructure and industrial installations as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Degree accreditation by the IMechE preferred, other institutions considered.

Responsibilities

• Designs and calculations for MEICA projects, providing technical reports.
• Build 3D models and specify mechanical equipment for infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site visits and participate in project meetings and workshops.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Electrical and ICA engineers.
