Job summary

Arup, a global design and engineering consultancy, invites graduates to join its Infrastructure Mechanical Engineering team. You will work on water/wastewater projects, learn from experts, and gain exposure to energy, hydrogen, and decarbonisation initiatives.

You will design, model, and specify mechanical equipment as part of multidisciplinary teams, with formal training and support to progress toward professional accreditation.

Qualifications

• Master's level degree in Mechanical Engineering or related subject such as Energy or Nuclear; 2:1 minimum.
• Degree accreditation by the IMechE is preferred, other institutions considered.
• To be considered for a graduate opportunity, you must meet eligibility criteria: full rights to work in the UK, no more than 12 months of relevant experience, recent or soon-to-graduate from your degree.

Responsibilities

• Designs and calculations for mechanical infrastructure projects (water, energy, decarbonisation).
• Build 3D models and prepare mechanical equipment specifications.
• Attend site visits and participate in project meetings and workshops.
