Job summary

Arup is offering a 10-12 month internship in mechanical engineering, focusing on water and wastewater projects and MEICA integration. You will work with experienced engineers from day one on real projects, learning through site visits, sessions with leadership, and collaborative problem solving.

The role supports expanding into energy-related areas and offers a structured development path with opportunities to connect with clients and pursue future graduate opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Interest in solving problems that affect the way we live.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver mechanical elements of water and wastewater treatment and pumping projects.
• Support frameworks and projects for clients such as Welsh Water, Wessex Water, United Utilities and Severn Trent.
• Work alongside Electrical and ICA engineers to deliver integrated MEICA solutions.
• Provide design leadership, technical assurance, equipment specification, multidisciplinary coordination and support to Design Managers and Project Managers.
