Graduate Mechanical Estimator
Near Woking, Guildford, Reading, and Bracknell
A well-established, bespoke mechanical design and building company - specialising in air conditioning, ventilation, and commercial heating - is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Estimator to join their supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or junior-level candidate with a background in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline) who is eager to build a career in estimation, gain full training, and progress with a growing company!
The successful Graduate Mechanical Estimator will:


  • Assist in preparing detailed take-offs and quotations for mechanical projects.

  • Review and learn to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.

  • Support the delivery of accurate estimations for projects ranging from 10,000 to 500,000+.
  • Be office-based (5 days a week) with occasional site visits (mileage paid).
  • Package: The Graduate Mechanical Estimator will be paid circa 30,000, depending on experience + Progression + Training + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays.


To qualify for this role as a Graduate Mechanical Estimator, you'll need:


  • A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with good attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.

  • An eagerness to learn how to price from drawings and prepare quotations.

  • A motivated attitude with the confidence to grow into the role.


The Graduate Mechanical Estimator will be paid circa 30,000, depending on experience + progression + training + 20 days holiday + bank holidays.
