Job summary

Finning (UK) Ltd is seeking a Graduate – HR Operations to gain hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, employee administration and HR systems. You will work with a supportive team, taking on real responsibilities from day one and contributing to service excellence.

You will develop skills in data accuracy, reporting and lifecycle activities while engaging with managers and candidates. This permanent role offers a platform for early-career growth within HR operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Business Management, Psychology, Law or related discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer-focused with problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities to deliver an excellent candidate experience.
• Managing interview scheduling, candidate communications and pre-employment checks.
• Providing first-line support for employee and manager enquiries.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and completing system transactions.
• Supporting employee lifecycle activities including contractual changes and leavers.
• Producing reports and ensuring data accuracy across systems.
• Participating in projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Building relationships with managers, candidates and colleagues.
