Job summary

Finning is hiring a Graduate – HR Operations to gain hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, systems management and operational support. You will join a dedicated team that supports learning and development while taking real responsibility from day one.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, Law or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer‑focused approach with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
• Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities to deliver an excellent candidate experience.
• Managing interview scheduling, candidate communications and pre‑employment checks.
• Providing first‑line support for employee and manager enquiries.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and completing system transactions.
• Supporting employee lifecycle activities including contractual changes and leavers.
• Producing reports and ensuring data accuracy across business systems.
• Participating in projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Building strong relationships with managers, candidates and colleagues across the business.
