Job summary
Stantec in Leeds is offering a 2027 Graduate Programme for a Graduate Geotechnical or Geoenvironmental Engineer. You will join a collaborative ground assessment team, analyze geotechnical properties, and contribute to desk studies, specifications and reports across infrastructure and water projects.
The role supports professional progression toward chartership with ICE, GSL, and/or IES, and requires a degree in geosciences or engineering.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental/Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, or Chemistry.
- Interest in working in the water sector and infrastructure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support ground investigations, site characterisation and report writing.
- Assess geotechnical data, prepare ground models and simple design calculations.
- Contribute to foundation, earthworks and slope stability considerations.
- Review historical maps and environmental data for contamination sources.
- Evaluate soils and groundwater information for environmental risk assessments.
