Job summary
Stantec is recruiting for a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer as part of its 2027 Graduate Programme. You will join a market-leading Energy & Resources Ground Engineering team, balancing learning with practical project delivery across the UK.
You will work within Stantec's national geo-environmental team, contribute to environmental risk assessments, site data analysis, and field activities while aiming for chartership in accredited pathways such as CGeol, CEng or CEnv.
Qualifications
- Minimum BSc in Geology or a relevant science or engineering discipline.
- Aptitude for adapting to changing environments and tasks.
- Strong analytical and collaborative skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing qualitative and quantitative environmental risk assessments for land and water quality.
- Analyse site data and draft technical reports, desk studies and environmental assessments.
- Support on-site field works including soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring and site supervision.
- Collaborate with transmission, distribution, waste, generation, minerals, hydropower, nuclear and water sectors.
