Stantec Consulting International Ltd. invites applications for a Graduate Electrical Engineer in our Birmingham office.

You will join our Water team to support sustainable engineering solutions across water and wastewater projects, with a clear path for progression on the graduate programme. You’ll gain exposure to electrical/ICA design, audits, and risk evaluations, while developing toward professional chartership with an engineering institution such as the IET.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Keen interest in the water industry and sustainable engineering.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to pursue professional accreditation and chartership.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical and ICA design for water and wastewater projects at feasibility, outline and detailed design stages.
• Assist with technical audits, risk evaluations and engineering assessments.
• Work with MEICA colleagues and other technical disciplines to develop practical, sustainable and cost-effective solutions.
• Contribute to projects involving storm overflows, flood alleviation, catchment solutions and nature-based solutions.
• Develop technical understanding through project work, collaboration and structured graduate development.
