Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in the UK is seeking a Senior electrical Engineer to join our Water team across Birmingham, Derby, Redditch or Cardiff.

You will deliver electrical and EICA design solutions for water and wastewater projects while advancing your technical expertise alongside multidisciplinary specialists. This role offers mentoring of junior engineers, collaboration with clients and supply chain partners, and the chance to contribute to safe, sustainable infrastructure that

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical or EICA design solutions for infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of electrical design principles, standards and technical documentation.
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Ability to produce and review technical outputs such as Single Line Diagrams, specifications and design documentation.
• Strong communication skills with clients, colleagues and project teams.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
• Experience supporting or mentoring less experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical and EICA design across a range of water and wastewater projects.
• Develop feasibility studies and optioneering.
• Contribute to detailed design, construction support and commissioning activities.
• Produce and review technical deliverables and collaborate with engineers from other disciplines.
• Work with Project Managers, discipline leads, clients and supply chain partners to deliver safe, sustainable designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and support the growth of the Electrical Engineering team.
