Arup is a global consultancy delivering design and advisory services for essential infrastructure. We recruit graduates to help us deliver sustainable, safe and innovative solutions across water, energy, nuclear, manufacturing and process plants.

As an Infrastructure Mechanical Engineer, you will design pipework and equipment, assess design challenges, and work with multi-disciplinary teams to improve asset performance while prioritising safety and decarbonisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong numeracy and proficiency in Excel are required.
• Willingness to learn new things and adapt to a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for infrastructure and industry (pipework and equipment).
• Investigate and understand problems and design challenges.
• Perform calculations, create specifications, modelling and layouts.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to develop complex solutions.
• Design for safety and operability of equipment.
