Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join the @one Alliance in Peterborough with hybrid working. You’ll be part of this exciting capital investment programme from the start, gaining hands‑on experience of Process Engineering on major infrastructure projects.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineering professionals, developing your technical knowledge and pursuing a successful career in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree or above in Electrical Engineering (BEng/MEng/MSc).
• Solid project engineering experience in a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of inter-related engineering disciplines and good collaboration skills.

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer you’ll be part of this exciting programme from the start, gaining hands‑on experience of Process Engineering across major infrastructure projects.

You’ll work alongside experienced Engineering professionals building your knowledge, developing your skills and working towards a successful career in Electrical Engineering.

You’ll be supported throughout your development, with opportunities to build your technical knowledge, gain professional experience and work towards your longer‑term career goals.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for graduates who are curious, collaborative and keen to build a career in Electrical Engineering and who enjoy working with people, solving problems and learning new things.

You’ll need:

• A 2:2 degree or above BEng or MEng/MSc in Electrical Engineering.
• Solid and strong evidence in a project engineering environment in relevant engineering discipline
• Detailed technical knowledge. Knowledge of inter-related engineering disciplines
• Work in an open and collaborative way– practice integrated working with all Alliance teams and the client. Develop effective working relationships.
• Apply rigour to key projects and tasks that require accurate and timely delivery and decision making
• The ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines
• A collaborative approach and willingness to learn
• An interest in infrastructure, construction or the built environment
• A full UK driving licence, or the ability to travel between project locations where required
