Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join the @one Alliance in Peterborough, operating on a hybrid basis.

You will gain hands-on experience across major infrastructure projects and work alongside experienced engineers to develop your knowledge in electrical engineering. The role requires a 2:2 degree or above and a BEng or MEng/MSc in Electrical Engineering, with a collaborative, proactive approach and a desire to learn.

Qualifications

  • A 2:2 degree or above.
  • BEng or MEng/MSc in Electrical Engineering.
  • Solid and strong evidence in a project engineering environment in relevant engineering discipline.
  • Detailed technical knowledge.
  • Knowledge of inter-related engineering disciplines.
  • Work in an open and collaborative way—practice integrated working with all Alliance teams and the client.
  • Develop effective working relationships.
  • Apply rigour to key projects and tasks that require accurate and timely delivery and decision making.
  • The ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
  • An interest in infrastructure, construction or the built environment.
  • A full UK driving licence, or the ability to travel between project locations where required.

Together, we're delivering projects to help protect and improve one of the UK's most important resources - water. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer you'll be part of this exciting programme from the start, gaining hands-on experience of Process Engineering across major infrastructure projects. You'll work alongside experienced Engineering professionals building your knowledge, developing your skills and working towards a successful career in Electrical Engineering. You'll be supported throughout your development, with opportunities to build your technical knowledge, gain professional experience and work towards your longer-term career goals.

What We're looking for

We're looking for graduates who are curious, collaborative and keen to build a career in Electrical Engineering and who enjoy working with people, solving problems and learning new things.

You’ll need:
