Job summary

Amey is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer in Stafford to work within our Highways & Transportation practice. You will support a team delivering national and local highway projects, gaining practical experience from industry experts from day one.

Starting salary is £31,000 with a 40-hour week, and start date in September 2027. The role offers hybrid/flexible working options and opportunities for ongoing training and development within Amey.

Qualifications

• Civil/Structural Engineering degree required
• Full UK driving licence required

Responsibilities

• Prepare/contribute to technical reports, design proposals and client presentations
• Support delivery of engineering projects for national & local highways
• Contribute to asset management strategies and lifecycle planning
• Use industry-standard software to model and analyse options
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical, environmental and transport engineers
• Develop innovative designs compliant with industry standards and guidelines
