Job summary

Amey is offering a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer role in Stafford, with a starting salary of £31,000 and a September 2027 start date. You will join a team delivering infrastructure projects across the UK, working with National Highways, Network Rail and other partners.

You will develop practical design skills, perform structural analyses, and contribute to a range of projects from investigation to asset management, gaining exposure to digital solutions and carbon and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering - (Minimum Grade 2:1)
• An interest in bridges / civil structures
• A commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on some of the most exciting and challenging projects across the UK and internationally.
• Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures from investigation to design and asset management.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of world-class data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
