Job summary

Amey is offering a Graduate Civil Engineer position in Sheffield, starting September 2027 with a £31,000 starting salary and 40-hour weeks. Qualifications

• Civil/ Structural Engineering Degree at Grade 2:1 or above.
• Full UK driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/ Contribute to technical reports, design proposals, and client presentations;
• Support the delivery of engineering projects for national and local highways;
• Contribute to asset management strategies and lifecycle planning;
• Use industry-standard software and tools to model and analyse options/performance;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical, environmental, and transport engineers;
• Develop innovative solutions and designs that comply with industry standards and guidelines;
• Deliver robust designs to ensure safe, efficient asset management for clients.
