Amey, a leading UK infrastructure firm, invites you to join its Highways & Transportation Practice as a Graduate Civil Engineer in Gloucester. Starting salary £31,000, 40-hour week, and September 2027 start date.

You’ll work with engineers to deliver highway schemes, prepare technical reports, and develop asset management strategies, while benefiting from structured development, mentoring and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Civil/ Structural Engineering Degree at Grade 2:1 or above.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/Contribute to technical reports, design proposals, and client presentations.
• Support the delivery of engineering projects for national and local highways.
• Contribute to asset management strategies and lifecycle planning.
• Use industry-standard software and tools to model and analyse options/performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical, environmental, and transport engineers.
• Develop innovative solutions and designs that comply with industry standards and guidelines.
• Deliver robust designs to help clients continue the safe, efficient, and optimal management of assets.
