New Bank Health Centre in Manchester, a GP practice run by gtd healthcare, seeks a receptionist for an 18-month fixed-term contract. The role involves greeting patients, directing them to clinicians, processing appointments and triage, and registering new patients.

Working Monday to Friday, core hours 08:00 to 18:00, with options for full-time or part-time. GP experience is desirable but not essential; training and development are supported.

Qualifications

• Good standard of secondary education.
• Demonstrable commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, directing them to the appropriate clinician or service.
• Process appointment, visit and telephone triage requests.
• Register new patients and maintain accurate records.
• Handle repeat prescription requests and ensure ready for collection within 48 hours.
• Answer calls, take and relay messages, and facilitate communication between teams.
