gtd healthcare is seeking a Receptionist to work across Millbrook and Mossley Medical Practices on a 12 month fixed term basis. The role involves welcoming patients, facilitating online triage, handling registrations, referrals and test results, and coordinating with secondary care and other health agencies.

Experience in a GP practice or healthcare setting is essential; EMIS and Docman experience is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Welcome and receive all patients and visitors to the Practice.
• Assist and direct patients through the online triage.
• Process all requests for triage, for appointments, visits and telephone consultation/triage ensuring calls are directed appropriately.
• Project a positive, professional and friendly image to patients and visitors in person or on the telephone.
• Complete new registration procedures and ensure accurate recording of details at all times.
• Receive and make telephone calls as required.
• Action repeat prescription requests.
• Provide test results to patients.
• Facilitate effective communication between patients, staff, secondary care and other related healthcare agencies.
