• Experience of working in a GP Practice or Healthcare environment is essential.
• Experience of using EMIS Web and Docman is desirable and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and receive patients and visitors to the Practice.
• Direct patients to the appropriate healthcare professional/service.
• Process appointments, visits and telephone triage with accurate recording of details.
• Provide a friendly image to patients and visitors in person or on the phone.
• Handle registration procedures and patient details accurately.
• Answer and direct telephone calls and take messages.
• Handle repeat prescription requests and provide test results to patients.
• Accept payment for private services and maintain good communication with teams.
