Job summary

gtd healthcare is seeking a Fixed Term GP Receptionist to cover Millbrook and Mossley Medical Practices for 12 months. The role offers flexibility to work full-time or part-time across a mix of early starts and late finishes, with onsite duties and a patient-facing focus in primary care.

• Experience in a GP practice or healthcare setting is essential.
• Experience with EMIS and Docman is desirable.
• Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and receive all patients and visitors to the Practice.
• Process appointments, visits and telephone triage with accurate recording.
• Project a positive, professional image to patients on site and by phone.
• Facilitate effective communication between patients and the primary health care team.
• Handle registrations, triage and referrals, and manage general enquiries.
