Job summary

Select Tech is seeking an experienced Workday Functional Consultant to drive the configuration, optimisation and maintenance of Workday across a global multi-country environment. You will partner with HR stakeholders to tailor Core HCM, Compensation and Recruiting, troubleshoot issues and support international rollouts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on configuration experience with Workday Core HCM.
• Proven experience configuring and supporting Workday Compensation and Recruiting.
• Experience working within a complex, multi-country Workday environment.
• Strong understanding of Workday configuration, business processes and functional capabilities.
• Experience troubleshooting system issues and delivering effective solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across HR and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting Workday implementations, enhancements or international rollouts.
• Workday certifications in Core HCM, Compensation or Recruiting.
• Experience supporting global HR transformation or Workday optimisation programmes.
• Knowledge of Workday release management, testing and change control processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on functional expertise across Workday Core HCM, Compensation and Recruiting.
• Configure, maintain and optimise Workday modules to meet evolving business requirements.
• Troubleshoot functional issues, investigate root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, streamline HR processes and enhance the user experience.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders, technical teams and wider business functions to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support Workday development, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to international Workday rollouts, ensuring configurations meet local and global business needs.
• Support system testing, validation and implementation activities to ensure changes are delivered effectively.
• Maintain system documentation and ensure Workday configurations follow established standards and best practices.
